BEIJING -- The purchasing managers' index (PMI) for China's manufacturing sector came in at 50.3 in December, up from 50.1 in November, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed Friday.
The purchasing managers' index (PMI) for China's non-manufacturing sector came in at 52.7 in December, up from 52.3 in November, according to the NBS.
A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below reflects contraction.
